Ingredients:
400 - 500gr of minced chicken / beef
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 medium carrot, peeled and finely chopped
1/2 cup of sliced button mushroom
1 can (400gr) peeled tomatoes, crushed by hand and reserved the juice aside
2 - 3tbs tomato paste
3/4 cup tomato sauce
1tsp salt
1tsp dried italian / mixed herbs
1tsp fresh ground pepper
1 1/4 tsp sugar
1tbs corn flour, mix it with 2tbs of water
1 1/2 cup chicken stock / water
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Parmesan cheese
1 pack of spaghetti, boil according to instruction
Methods:
- Heat a frying pan with oil. Add in garlic, onion, mushroom and carrot until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the meat and break the meat clumps with the spatula constantly until it turns brown.
- Add in the can tomatoes, tomato juice, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and chicken stock / water, salt, pepper, dried herbs and sugar and bring it to boil and stir occasionally for 20 - 25 minutes.
- Taste the sauce and add more seasoning and tomato sauce for more taste.
- Add in the corn flour mixture to thicken the sauce and stir it in high fire for 1 minute.
- Drain the spaghetti and pour the sauce on top. Garnish with a sprinkle parmesan cheese.
