Ingredients:

  • 250gr Butter
  • 320gr Self Raising Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Egg Yolk for brushing the scones
  • 1 dash Evaporated Milk
  • 2/3 teacup Water

Methods:

  • Preheat oven at 190 C.
  • Rub baking sheet with flour and butter lightly with fingertips.
  • Beat the eggs and pour in milk and water gradually until right consistency.
  • Spoon the batter on to the baking sheet and brush the top with egg yolk.
  • Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown. (Max the temperature at the last minutes for crispy outer layer).

Topping:

  •  Get a jar of any fruit jam and mix it with small chunk of salted butter.
  • Serve the jam together with the scones.

The scones turn out to be very nice and the top was crispy. It is one of the easiest dessert to make!
